Last Isle of Man TT day – Further delays

The wet weather during the race week has continued to lead to delayed races. Also the races today, Saturday June 9th, are delayed due to the weather conditions.

The mountain road is currently said to be closed at 14:00 and the rest of the course closing at 15:00.

The three lap BikerPetition.co.uk Lightweight race is currently expected for 15:30. That is expected to be followed by the Monster Energy Parade Lap and then finally the six lap PokerStars Senior race at 17:15.

Senior TT race day 2012 races cancelled

The races today, Friday June 8th have been cancelled and postponed until Saturday.

Per the weather report earlier this morning, weather remains wet today (Friday) but it should improve by tomorrow, and today’s race schedule is brought over until then.

The order of the race schedule from today is kept as is, with Lightweight TT race starting on Saturday at 10:45 followed by the Monster Energy MotoGP parade lap and the blue riband PokerStars Senior TT.

Isle of Man TT race day June 4th – Royal London 360 superstock

Monday June 4th offered another beautiful, sunny day during the Isle of Man TT 2012.

Cruise ships to the Isle of Man 2012

Silver Explorer, visiting on May 31st, is just one of several luxury cruise ships, making a stop in the Isle of Man during the summer this year. Their prices start from around £4,800.

MV Discovery visited Isle of Man

MV Discovery cruiseshipThe cruise ship MV Discovery (formerly Island Venture, Island Princess, Hyundai Pungak and Platinum), currently in operation with Voyages of Discovery visited the Isle of Man from Monday morning May 28th and left in the evening the same day.

This not only allowed the visitors to enjoy the beautiful sunshine but also gave the cruise passengers an opportunity to get a feeling for the Isle of Man TT practice day atmosphere.
